Increase of machining capacities

Two projects have been completed this month simultaneously. First of all, a twin of our Turn-/Millcenter TSUGAMI HS20M-5AX was put into operation and doubled the production capacity. Furthermore, the Fehlmann Picomax P90 (5-Axis Milling) has been equipped with a robot for automated feeding which helps to reduce the cycle times in the manufacturing of medical[…]

Successful recertification

innotool & greminger has successfully passed the recertification audit carried out by the notified body (Bureau Veritas) incl. upgrade to ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001:2015. Newly, the surface finishing division is mentioned prominently on the certificate. The processes and validation of the respective equipment have been audited and also approved by our customers in the meantime.

SWISSTECH – MESSE BASEL 15.–18. NOVEMBER 2016

In 2016, once again, SWISSTECH is the most important Swiss hub for all the main players in the supplier sector. As the most important trade fair for materials, components and system construction in the German-speaking world, it covers the entire metal and plastic sector, along with all value-adding stages – from the raw material supplier to the systems supplier.

At the same time, PRODEX, the international trade fair for machine tools, tools and production measurement technology, will take place in Basel. Together, these two trade fairs form THE Swiss mechanical engineering, electrical and metal (MEM) industry highlight of 2016.

PLASTICS PROCESSING WITH NEW PROCESSING CENTRE

At the beginning of September, a new turning and milling machining centre was put into operation at innotool & greminger. This multi-axis machine exclusively manufactures high performance plastics for medical devices (surgical instruments). Thanks to an optimised automation solution, both capacity and efficiency are significantly increased.

At the same time, the capacity for the processing of metallic materials is also increased in existing plants.

NEW TRUMARK STATION 5000 FROM TRUMPF

innotool & greminger ag continues to invest in the modernization of its machine park. During the renovation of the laser workplace, ergonomic criteria were taken into account in addition to the technical aspects. The clever design allows working both in sitting and standing positions.

This device fully complies with the requirements for future UDI markings on medical devices. Initial samples have already been successfully completed. The process has of course been validated.
